Miracle Garcinia Cambogia Review – How Does It Compare To The Market Leader

Miracle Garcinia Cambogia reviewMiracle Garcinia Cambogia is a weight loss supplement that claims to harness the power of Garcinia Cambogia. It purports to aid in weight loss by enhancing the metabolic process to burn fat, suppressing appetite and enhancing mood. The mood enhancement is supposed to help dieters deal better with emotional eating issues.

As with many weight loss aids, this product also claims that users have to do little else beyond taking the capsules. It is touted as a magic ingredient which will allow users to “stop spending hours and hours at the gym exercising.”

The recommended dosage of Garcinia Cambogia for effective weight loss is 500-1000mg. The website advises the capsules be taken with eight ounces of water at least 30 minutes before each meal, or 1500-3000mg per day total. The website recommends dieters take 3000mg per day. The capsules in Miracle Garcinia Cambogia contain 1000mg of the supplement.

Key Ingredients

fruit extract of garcinia cambogiaThe main ingredient is Garcinia Cambogia. It also contains a proprietary blend consisting of Magnolia Bark extract and Amur Cork tree Bark extract. Finally, it also contains Potassium Gluconate.

Garcinia Cambogia is a tropical fruit, also known as mangosteen. Its rind contains a chemical, Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) that has shown promise as a weight loss aid in clinical studies.

Magnolia Bark comes from the Magnolia plant. It is used for a variety of conditions, weight-loss and in some traditional Asian medicine preparations. There is insufficient evidence that the bark is effective for weight-loss.

Amur Cork tree Bark comes from the cork tree, also known as the phellodendron plant. It is used as an anti-inflammatory, and to treat a variety of conditions like osteoarthritis and cirrhosis.   It is also used to treat obesity and for weight loss, but there is insufficient evidence that it works.

Miracle Garcinia Cambogia Side Effects

Always consult your healthcare professional before starting any dietary supplement.   Pregnant or nursing women should not take this product.

Although Garcinia Cambogia has been shown to cause headache, nausea and digestive tract upset, it should be safe if taken for a short time, generally 12 weeks or less.

Magnolia Bark is considered safe when taken for 6 weeks or less. It does slow down the nervous system though, and may cause other negative side effects, so users should stop taking it 2 weeks before surgery. It also interacts with alcohol and other depressants.

Cork Tree (phellodendron) Bark is safe for adults to use for 6 weeks or less. However, it does react with Cyclosporine and other drugs that are broken down by the liver.

Bottom Line… Is It Recommended

Short answer: No. While we are extremely supportive of supplements containing Garcinia Cambogia, this is not the one.   There are at least two websites for Miracle Garcinia Cambogia. One is older and more primitive looking, but actually contains the most information and transparency. It clearly lists the ingredients and recommended dosage.   The other website is more polished but less substantive. It just throws out a few facts about Garcinia Cambogia and HCA and some hefty promises of effortless weight-loss. The primary function of the more polished website appears to be the hard sell, getting people to purchase the product. This should be a red-flag to potential consumers. Companies that rely on claims of too-good-to-be-true results are preying on the desperation and vulnerability of the dieting population.

Any product that dubs itself a miracle or magic should raise red flags for conscientious consumers. Any weight loss supplement that doesn’t acknowledge the need for users to change their lifestyle, incorporate a calorie restricted diet of some sort and incorporate appropriate regular exercise should also raise red flags. Unfortunately, Miracle Garcinia Cambogia does all these things. Buyers beware.

However you look at it, Miracle Garcinia Cambogia is pricey. On special, one bottle is offered for $54 dollar. This is advertised as a $20 savings, making the regular price $74 for 60 capsules. Taken as directed, one bottle should last only 20 days. To get a full two month supply, users need to buy three bottles. The website special advertises 3 bottles for $144. They also include 2 free bottles for this price, so the cost is about $29 per bottle. That price remains the same whether you opt for the auto-ship enrolment plan or just a one-time shipment so there is some confusion as to what advantage the auto-ship brings. Ironically, the website notes that this product will allow users to “say goodbye to shopping for expensive diet foods.”  Instead, it seems they want you to purchase this expensive diet supplement.
